In the nothingness beyond thought there is a shattered glass container,
And it is full of light.
Fissures and imperfections now mar the once clear crystal.
Light only shines at odd intervals,
Rather than bathing all around it in it’s brilliance it infrequently gleams.
Shining it bleeds beauty into the world.
More often it shields itself from notice with the scars in it’s surface,
Scars from years of careless human handling.
The container holds value beyond measure,
Bedazzled the eye cannot recognize what it sees in the fractured glass.
Intermittent grace,
For this is the radiance of a goddess.
