Destroyed GloryIn the nothingness beyond thought there is a shattered glass container, And it is full of light. Fissures and imperfections now mar the once clear crystal. Light only shines at odd intervals, Rather than bathing all around it in its brilliance it infrequently gleams. Shining it bleeds beauty into the world. More often it shields itself from notice with the scars in its surface, Scars from years of careless human handling. The container holds value beyond measure, Bedazzled the eye cannot recognize what it sees in the fractured glass. Intermittent grace, For this isDestroyed Glory

Phantom loveA ghost appeared to my eyes. A phantom flitted where she had sat before. Beauty, it is what haunts me. A memory of her scent and a vision. They torment and I feel a fool.Phantom love
But only after they fade, I see them and I smile. I am happy for thoughts of her. And when I see her face I reach out, I hope to feel her lips on mine. But I never feel the bliss I hope to find. I cannot kiss a phantom, just as I cannot kiss the beauty. My heart beats and I feel a fool. Foolish for my fear, foolish for my cowardice.
But I am unwilling to live as a fool.

Step to the LightStep to the light. Do you think I am blind? I see your moves, and I can guess your motives. Do I need to tell you again? We know the score. Fighting for a life. I was born to need a mission. Were you born to fight me?Step to the Light
Strike while hot or stand silent. Find the words. It hurts to hear of your demise. Can you know the pain not caring? Find me a world, I will build the throne. The skulls are easy to find.
Life hurts. Can you see? It is just a dream. I fight to awaken. But do not wake me. It is all it seems. Beauty lives here. Can life exist without love?
